The game would be in fact a prequel.
The action director, Yuji Shimomura is the person involved in Capcom's
Devil May Cry 3 game.
The Producer of the series Tsuyoshi Tanaka wishes to take again
the graphic style of the first opus.
The play will be presented at the time of E3 but the special movements
will not be revealed to avoid the Spoilers.
The new system of the gameplay called 'style system' will make
it possible to the player to choose between several styles of movements
at the beginning of the play such as Gunslinger, Swordmaster, Trickster,
and Royal Guard. The gained points d’experience throughout
play could be added to these styles which have each advantage and
of the disadvantages.
The transformation of Dante into Demon remains still a secrecy.
The length of the play will be comparable with the first opus,
one also indicates the same quantity of enygmes to be solved.
The levels were conceived in such manner to be able to effectively
use all the movements and others combo carried out by our hero.
Devil May Cry 3 has a new three-dimensional chart engine, that
makes it possible to the originators to add new special effects,
the enemies for example will consist of sand.
The environments will be much more destructible.
The shades and lights will be more realistic.
Effects related to the climate will be present.
The play will comprise missions with scenes kinematics.
Certain missions will not have a Boss and others will have several
of them.
New female character still unknown. Tanaka won't say if she's a
love interest, or even playable, but he did indicate that the new
style system and focus on customizing Dante will mean that we won't
see a second character who's playable for the entire game. Who is
she then? 'Someone Dante knew before DMC1' is all Tanaka would let
slip at this point.
More Facts About Devil May Cry 3
This time there will actually be somwhat a story, as this
explains how Dante realizes who he is, we meet his brother, a female
counterpart who actually has a purpose (unlike the friggin Lucia),
DMC1 had a poor story, whereas DMC2 has, if at all, a horrible story.
2) Whereas it will be produced by the producer of DMC2, this guys
was new when he was enlisted for DMC2, he went on producing Resident
Evil: Outbreak as well as the well-received Monster Hunter (in Japan),
hes probably learned his mistakes from DMC2.
3) The game will be directed by a Capcom legend who's "very
good at throwing fireballs" who is presumably the creator of
the Street Fighter Alpha series, and that is a VERY good thing.
4) Dante will adctually TALK a lot this time, unlike part 2, and
hell be doing it in a way where we can truly call him "badass"
again.
5) The games cutscenes and CGs will be directed by Yuji Shimomura.
6) The graphics have changed highly. DMC2 uses a repurposed DMC1
engine, while DMC3 will use a brand new fully 3D engine - special
effects, lighting, shadow, weather effects (rain n fog), reflections,
even destructible environments.
There is even high attention to detail - any weapon NOT equipped
will be shown on Dantes body, unlike DMC1 & 2.
7) The brand new Style system will provide new things for the DMC
world - different styles of play, different moves, its like reasons
to play again n again or leveling up in many different ways which
makes fighting enemies even more fun.
8) The games length will not be short this time around like DMC2's
5 hours (with BOTH characters ) this time its going to be at least
as long as the first one, which is a good 10 hours+ and that’s
great for an action game.
9) There will be a decent amount of puzzles here unlike the coarse
supply of puzzles in DMC2.
10) There will be a new arsenal of moves this time - and they will
serve a purpose this time not like 2 had - not to mention kicks,
punches, even blocks and counter attacks.
11) After trying out the game, PSM said that the combo system of
DMC3 will blow away the combo system of DMC1. Did u read right?
Blow away the combo system of DMC1!!!!!!!!!
12) The levels in DMC3 are designed to test players long range
AND melee abilities EQUALLY, whereas in DMC2 the game was too easy
due to the large environments.
13) Much of the staff members who worked on the first DMC are present
here.
14) There will be intro movies for EVERY mission as well as completion
movies, whereas in DMC2 not only did we get 1 intro movie for every
4 missions, but boring ones as well.
15) Err...this game will have a stylish pause screen.
16) Almost all the enemies are brand new and Tanaka said the game
will be much more "challenging" than u think.
17) The bosses are said to be smart, bad, big, and hard. Not like
the ones in DMC2 who didnt even look good (except the tower or building
or whatever.)
18) The game will have a great orchestral soundtrack that consists
of rock, techno-trance, and haunting tunes like castlevania.
19) The game environments are much more interesting this time around,
as the game contains 2 different worlds (the real world and the
demon realm), so far there is a demon arena (looks like a coliseum),
dantes shop, the streets that dante shop is in, a strip club, several
shops, a demon tower, and much more to be revealed. In DMC1 the
whole game took place in only 1 area.
20) Not much of a reason, but as proof that this game will be awesome,
people will get to try it out on e3 and see for themselves, so this
time, capcom isnt trying to hide it till release.
21) The DMC2 development team is nowhere near DMC3
22) And there will be hours+ of cutscenes, to help perpetuate the
story. |
